Scope & Topics
The scope covers functional polymers and composites dealing with new ideas and developments in the science and technology of advanced polymers with functional groups that provide specific chemical reactivity and possess novel physical behavior. This symposium will discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of advanced functional polymers and composites. The topics cover polymer chemistry, polymer physics, polymer characterization, and polymer processing, as well as the connection to their multidisciplinary applications. Papers are solicited on the fundamental and applied aspects of all types of advanced functional polymers and composites. Symposium topics will include (but not limited to):
