Scope & Topics
Energy storage systems have been intensively developed recently because of the increasing demand for portable devices, renewable energy systems, and electric vehicles. This symposium focuses on advanced energy storage technologies including lithium-based batteries, beyond lithium batteries, supercapacitors, and redox-flow batteries etc. The scope covers fundamental studies, synthesis of advanced electrode or electrolyte materials, and advanced analytical and simulation methods to evaluate the charge storage mechanism. Research fields of interest include, but not limited to, lithium-based batteries (Li-ion, Li metal, Li-S, and Li-air batteries), beyond lithium batteries (Na, K, Mg, Ca, Al, Fe, and, Zn ion batteries), supercapacitors, hybrid ion capacitors, and redox-flow batteries.
